Summer in Michigan is mostly spent out on one of the Great Lakes or tucked away in the woods of a state park. Luckily for your dog, both activities are fairly dog friendly. If you are planning on bringing your dog with you this summer for a Michigan getaway, you’ll either want to camp (great option!), stay in a hotel, or book one of these dog friendly Michigan vacation rentals.
The great thing about staying in a vacation rental with your dog is you don’t have to worry about other people in hotels or the crowded campgrounds. It also allows you to have more freedom in where to stay. Even though I can’t possibly stay in all of the cool vacation rentals out there, I have way too much fun finding and saving dog friendly Michigan vacation rentals for the future!
